HELLO, I have been given the lovely task of repairing someone elses database, now the thing is that the DB was created in access 97 and converted up to access 2000, there was no problem here. but somewhere along the line one of the reports stoped working.
In my attempt to solve the problem I discovered that if I removed some of the entries the reports worked fine, I then discovered that Any company begining with the letters A-I did not work for example:
Andronics - did not work
TAndronics - worked
by just adding a new letter to the company there was no problem.
This has to be one of the most perculiar things I have ever seen a db do, if anyone has ever seen or heard of this type of thing before could you please let me know.
I would be very grateful for any assistance with this matter.
Kindest Regards
Cillies
