I have a peer to peer network. All computers have XPpro now with SP2 upgrade on them. 3 of the computers have 2nd hard drives installed and they can be used by the local machine and can be seen on the network. When you try to access the folders on that drive on the network you get an access is denied error.Files outside of folders appear to be accessible but never open and a word or access document will give the error, cannot open the document, user does not have access priveleges. The drive is shared out, the permissions are set to fully open. I have tried removing the share and then setting it again and I have the problem with every one of the 2nd drives. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Oh I forgot to add all firewall are disabled on the computers. I have a router
Thanks

create user/pw of all pc´s on all pc´s
check/set permissions/rights

I totally agree. You might have set the permissions to fully open, but do the subfolders inherit permissions? If not, you might want to consider changing all the permissions on the subfolders to inherit from the parent folder (share).
