Access personal Vmail remotly using the DID number of an extension

Hello,

My client is set to have all incoming calls to ring the receptionist without passing through the AA options during the day. He wants an option to be set for his extension only to allow him access his Vmail remotely during hours.
The only way I can thing of is by letting him dial his own DID number and dial a DTMF breakout options ( ie: "0") that is configured for *17 (Voicemail collect)... He used to dial "*" from the old PBX.. Is there a way to configure * for dtmf breakout?

If you are talking about Partner mode or Essential mode you could only make it * off the attendant. If he is calling his own DID and getting his voicemail box greeting, then he needs to use one of the assigned breakout codes. I usually set breakout 3 to go to voicemail. If you have vmpro, then you could set-up * in his mailbox to go to voicemail using vmpro client.
 
If he is calling in from his mobile,....
Then create a ddi and point this straight to voicemail
Then in his user source numbers
add his mobile number with a v in front
ie:
v079865432233
the voicemail will recognise his mobile (cell phone if in usa)
and take his call straight to his mail box.
I hope that makes sense.

WooHooJonesey, I've tried to add a trusted source number using Vxxxxxxxxxx method but didn't work in both modes (IP Office and intuity), The ICR is set properly to point to the Ext# though. Am I missing anythings?
 
It is already set.. I will try trace the call to make sure the CLID is being sent as is :)
