Access-Outlook Folder Link - Getting email address

Hi All

Just a quick one.

I am experimenting linking Outlook 2000 folders to Access97, using the wizard. Works fine, but the 'TO:' field only contains the text part of the senders address (i.e. Jim Smith) and not the email address (jim.smith@company.com)

Any way to get the email address in the same field or a separate one. Without this, I wont be able to generate responses, at least not to the right addresses.

As I recall the wizard is very limited. It gives you certain fields and that is it.

The way around this is to automate Outlook from Access. That is a huge topic and you should finds lots of posts on the subject here.

Thanks - I'll look into that. The other option is using a POP3 connection to grab all the emails straight into Access.
