access open form

help please, it has been a while since i used access. i have created a db and have my main form set to open as the db does. however when it opes it shows the data collected the first time the form was used.

how do i get it to open with a new record?

please help i feel silly

There are two options. You can set the form's Data Entry property to Yes or you can use this code to open the form.

DoCmd.OpenForm "YourFormName", acNormal, , , acFormAdd
