Access on web server...

Hi, i posted this on the access forum first but there was no response so I guess i'll try here...

I have users maintaining an access db using ASPs all done over my companies LAN. Anyway the database is split into a front end and back end. I try and open the frontend database via the web server and can't get it to work can anyone help, i just get an error msg after selecting open from location? Any help much appreciated!
