Hi
We have a database which is mapped to I:\IT and is called HTI Live
If I run the database we have a form that carry's out many functions onto our main sql DB. One of them is to run an update on customer header field. We do this by simply entering the order number, then add the customer order reference and then click a button. this then gives a Yes/No message box and if we click yes it updates the field in out SQL database. This all works fine.
However, if I run the database from I:\\IT or have a shortcut to it on my desktop then it will not bring up the Yes/No message box and obviously then does not update the sql field.
If I copy the database to my local desktop and then run it, it works and gives me the Yes/No option and updates.
We cannot work out why the database will not do this for me when I run it from the I:\\IT network location. We have got the IT guys to check all my permissions and they are all ok. Other people can run it from I:\\IT folder just not me.
I have checked the modules but cannot see any local credentials being used, so we are stumped. s anyone ever come across this before.
Thanks
