Access Memo field formatting in Front Page

I am attaching an Acess database (both in 97 and XP) in a Frontpage web site. I want to be able to format new lines in memo fields to make the data look readable. I have tried the code stored by Access when you force a new line in the memo field, CR+LF and HTML code (<p> and </p>). None of this works.

Is there a way to do this?
