Access Manager problem

Hi! I have a little problem with Cognos Access Manager v.6.1. Where I open Powerplay Enterprise Server v.6.61 and try to connect to my server I got the following message: An Access Manager Service Failure as occur!

I can't log to my server. It's the same in Upfront Server Administration. I try with another computer with the same products and I have no problems at all. I use the same user to perform my test. Any suggestions?
 
When you "try with another computer with the same products and ... have no problems at all..." do you mean

Scenario1: that you tried accessing a 2nd instance of Access Mgr on machine2 with a 2nd client (ie PPES or Upfront Mgr)?

Or

Scenario2: that you tried accessing the 1st (problematic) instance of Access Mgr on machine1 with clients on a 2nd machine?

It sounds like you're in Scenario1. If so, try Scenario2. If it still does not work, you have a connectivity problem to Access Mgr. In my experience (I've done this many times myself), the port numbers are usually not set correctly in the client (ie PPES or Upfront Mgr).

Tip: Lookup help or Kbase information on resetting or finding the port number for Access Manager.

run again in the server, the Access Manager Wizard.
Or even better, save the CSA file from the computer which is working , and open it in the Access Manager wizard in the server
Maybe you have some incorrect parameters( port number , ticket server information missing )
