Hi People,

I'm problably doing something very stupid here but I want to be able to access my Exchange Server mailbox via pop3. I'm sure this is possible. I have enabled port 110 on my firewall and made sure the user has pop enabled in Active Directory.

Please can somebody shed some light?

Thanks in advance

Danny

First, this should have been posted in the Exchange forum.

Have you enabled the POP3 Virtual Server?

You do know there are much more secure methods for connecting to Exchange, right?

There aren't many *less* secure ways of doing it. Perhaps you should step backwards and see *why* you want to do it and maybe there is a better (more secure) way of doing it?

Hello,

Thanks for your replies. They didn't appear in my mailbox that's why I'm replying late.

The reason I need to connect to exchange via pop3 is that my client wants to be able to connect via his Nokia E91 and this either goes via pop3 or imap. I've tried the pop3 and imap settings and it keeps prompting me for a username/password. I know that the username/password I am typing is correct but it still doesn't accept it.
