Access keeps generating empty records at random.

Hi, I am having great difficulty with a database that has begun to randomly generate blank records with a populated Autonumber. The trouble I am having is that i can't seem to generate the same error from my computer, even when I was on site for a few hours it didn't occur on their network. Im just wondering if it is possible for this to be a corruption issue on a users machine or a network issue as I can't seem to generate it myself.
The database has been fine for years, however my boss made some changes the other week, he is currently overseas so I can't find out exactly what has been changed. He informed me of one users PC having corruption issues and we are currently waiting for access to be reinstalled on this machine. I have been testing it for hours trying to get the error to occur so that is why I have my suspicions about it being a network issue.
If anyone has experienced something like this please let me know.
Anyway I will keep testing.

Is it possible that a change in coding has allowed users to go to a new record and then abandon it?
