I am running SBS 2003 with IIS,
I can access it fine from home,, I can log into the remote web worlplace check email and use remote desktop.

I have a simple problem,
my intranet which defaults to works fine locally,, however,, being that it is not a public domain,, I can't access it from the internet. I have a public domain which is:
server.domain.com forward to my IIS server.

how can I be able to access the intranet from home???

Run through the Connect To the Internet Wizard in the SBS TODO list. One of the questions it asks you is if you wish to publish the Companyweb site to the Interent. Select Yes and it will configure the server for you.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

You can access it in a couple of ways... either through Remote Web Workplace's Main Menu ("Connect to my Company's Internal Web Site"), or directly on port 444

In order for these to work, though, you need to have enabled this in the Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard (CEICW -- which is linked as Connect to the Internet in the Server Management Console > Internet and Email)

A visual how-to is here:
Within that wizard you'll see a "more information" button on each screen that has invaluable help in deciding which options to select. Be sure to check those out as well.

If you have a router in front of your SBS, then you need to make sure port 444 is also open to the server. If it's UPnP, then the CEICW will take care of this for you.
