How can I let my database in Access interact with Authorware?

It should be like opening an external module in Authorware where you can search my database in Access (stored as an .mdb file). Is this possible? If yes, please tell me how!

Thanks in advance.

Yes this is possible. There are two third party Xtras that do this: DataGrip and V12 Database Engine by Integration New Media. I haven't used V12 but I'm going to try it out in the next week or so. I have used DataGrip and it works pretty well. The documentation is so-so, however and SQL knowledge is a big advantage (though not required, I got through it without any prior SQL experience).

So far, DataGrip has worked well for us, I have one database with 10,000+ records and it searches them pretty quick. Writing back to the database from Authorware is a little bit tougher, and I've not been able to do it (I haven't had a real reason to though, so my motivation to figure it out wasn't there).

Anyway, my only complaints of Datagrip is that the documentation is still dated Aug 21, 1998, and I did have a help issue that they weren't terriblly helpful on. (Tip, avoid having apostrophe's in your database at all costs).
Also, because the documentation is a little dated, the listing of files you need to distribute to make it work is incorrect. If your users have MS Access installed, you're golden and have nothing to worry about. If not, you will need to have them install Microsoft MDAC (or whatever they're calling it now, used to be MSJet).

I can't provide any comments on V12 yet.
