Hi,

When execute a hiperlink to a pdf file (Adobe) in Access database (table or form), receive a message that hiperlink can be harmful to my computer and the document doesn't open.
If the hiperlink point to a xls or doc file, the message appears and the file is executed.
Could anyone please help me ?

Thanks in advance,

Cascais

I would venture to guess this is a Windows security setting. If you try to click directly on the PDF file do you get the same message? If so, it's Windows that stopping it.

Is adobe installed on the machine?

I tried to have patience but it took to long! :) -DW

In the Access help file, search on followhyperlink. This link will describe how to disable the sandbox within your registry. I've disabled my sandbox for Access, but I still can't open my hyperlink to PDF files.
