I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm trying to create a table so that when you enter data, its a pull down menu so you just select when you want instead of typing it. For example, the Field is Movie Genre, and then you can select Science Fiction, Action, Comedy, Romance, Horror, etc...

Create another table called tblGenre with one field called genre...

then in your "target" table...point the desired field to the genre table via the lookup tab at the bottom of the design view window.

..in design view highlight the desired field
at the bottom of the design view window, select the "lookup" tab.


..select list box from the "display control" drop down
..table/query from "row source type" drop down
..your genre table from the "row source" drop down

save and run!

Don't forget to populate the genre table.
