Hey
Hope someone can help. I am still new at Access.
What I am trying to accomplish is:
I have a client lookup form created. When someone searches through the form and finds the client they are looking for, they would like to print the information onto an envelop. Is this possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Look at this post for assistance. It sounds like you're trying to do the same thing. The report in your case would be the envelope format and instead of previewing the report, you could just print it.

I should elaborate on this a bit more, i want to print only the record that they are looking for. For example, they open the form, the person is looking for Client B and when that client appears, they want to print that client and only that client. thanks

Then the criteria for the query would only show the client selected.

The report is a generic report showing the client fields they want.

The search form has a box to select the client they wish to put on the report.

The Macro stays the same on opening the report, the search form is first opened to allow for a client selection.

Finally, the query asks for the client to display: Forms!ClientSearchForm!ClientNameCtl - in the criteria field of the query under Client Name.

That help?
