Access has encountered a problem...

Hi, have fixed many access dbs with probs but cant get into this one - no matter what i do!
this db was written in access 97

when loading i get this-

"Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close"

details...

AppName: msaccess.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.3822 ModName: msaccess.exe
ModVer: 9.0.0.3822 Offset: 0003fa2f

have tried the following-

-delete locking file
-import tables to new database
-/decompile
-jetcomp [has this ever saved ne1?]
-copy and try to load on different pc
-tried to load with access 97/2000/2003

and many more

am guna hav to send to one of those companies that retrieve dbs,
anyone used one before?

What happens when you tried to import the tables into a fresh application?

Do you get an error message?

Do you have backups?

When importing to ACC97 i get

As usual, the safer way is:
take a backup and retry.

the backup is missing the table i need for god knows what reason
