Access Hanging when opening a form

Hi,
I am totally confused by this and hope someone can help.

I have an access database and when I open a specific form in it it just hangs for about 2 minutes. Then if I go into it again it opens straight away.

The form is based on a table, but all other forms based on the same remote database work fine.

any ideas?

Sorry I cant be more specific as I have no idea what is causing it.
