Hello all,

I have an access app that runs on a terminal server and uses SQL Server as a back end. It runs slow alot.

I was wondering if there were any tips on performance?

It runs slow alot.
Lonnie,
You've really got to be more specific. Also, run it from the console and take terminal server out of the picture to eliminate TS lag for percieved slow response. Are there local tables involved also, or a pure front-end?

And may help you in answering jsteph's questions.

Thanks jsteph,

I know the possibilities are enormous because we have three different areas and the network that transmits them.

This is an Access front end with linked SQL Server tables that are bound to forms. Each user has their own copy of the app in a network version of MyDocuments. We have a dual terminal server that tries to balance the load of users.

We also have another set of users that do not use T-Server and are not having this problem.

I am just shooting in the dark here hoping someone has had simular problems.

Thanks again.
