Our company has been looking at implementing a Citrix solution to resolve some compatibility issues.

Anyway, I hvae been given an Access Gateway box to trial for two weeks and can not get into the Administration console of the box. I connect a WinXP Pro laptop to the LAN1 connector on the back with a crossover cable.

After 3 minutes I try going to the supplied IP address of and get an error message saying page is unavailable.

No lights seem to come up on the front of the box so I'm assuming that the box is not working correctly. Can anyone give me some words of wisdom before I go back to the company who has loaned me the box in the first place

CAG is a really expensive SSL Gateway, i.e. 200 users = $20,000 - $30,000. Last time I checked the CSG you get with Presentation Server is still included in the price, works just fine and can be load balanced. Aside from this there are other inexpensive SSL Gateways, i.e. 2X Load Balancer.

I know the CAG has other features, but I haven't seen any worth $100+ per user.
