I need to create a standard set of search and select forms in my Access Database.

I have two forms perfectly working now; a search form which searches data according to some criteria and a data view form. For example, I search some person by the last name in my search form, and I want to move to the same record in the data view form when I select it in the search form.

I am sure many people have come across this problem and there should be good resources. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Have a look at the 4th argument of the DoCmd.OpenForm method.

Hope This Helps, PH.
