My company recently moved the back-end of a large DB to a Microsoft SQL Server. This has lead to inexplicable record locking behavior. On some forms, it appears that another user locks a record and the form can't update it; therefore it just times out waiting for access to the record. This can be fixed with some error trapping code, but I'd like to know the source of this problem. Any ideas?
