Access Form and Conditional Formatting

Is there a way to set conditions on a field based on who the user accessing the form?

I have a field that if the Admin user is accessing the form that I would like the field to show. If it is a normal user, the field would not appear.

if currenuser = admin then
field1.visible = true
else 
field1.visible = false 
end if
