I have section of my database that requires users to load hyperlink paths to various documents on the network.

This can be rather tedious when the files are located at multiple locations on the network.

It would be nice to have the ability to drag a file from windows explorer and drop it into a hyperlink field wherein the hyperlink path gets stored.

I have seen some 3rd party apps for moving text from one field to another, but nothing for files and storing links / paths.

Has anybody seen anything that might accomplish this?

I probably need to clarify myself, drag and drop does work for creating a link, although it is hit and miss. This works both directly from the source table and from the form I am working with.

I am working with a continous form.

About half the time Windows will not allow the drag and drop. I cant seem to find anything in common.

Probably something stupid right in fromt of me....
