Hi

We are trying to size a server for Citrix Access Essentials for 2 users with a rare peak of 5.

The users will be using Outlook & Word 2003, an industry application that uses 30mb memory at its peak, and some dictation software that uses 15mb memory at its peak.

We tested Access Essentials on workstation machine running Windows 2003 Server SP1 and it crawled. Its a Pentium 4 3ghz with 1GB RAM.

I read a while ago that the reccomended RAM was 4GB for Access Essentials, but thought this was a little high?

All our machines in the office are fast machines, we would rather have more than adequate hardware but not an overkill. What would you reccomend for this application.

Any reccomendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks
B

Actually we have re-installed it on this machine and is working fine: 1 user working smoothly and 450mb of RAM free.

Thanks
B
