I have a dual boot system with Windows XP and Office 2003 on drive E:\. My access database will not work because it can't find msador15.dll. I made sure that the .dll is in E:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO and registered. My boss thinks that Access, by default, is looking for drive C:\. Anyone have a clue?

I found the answer. The problem was with an old Access 7.0 'date & time picker' control. I added and registered mscomct2.ocx. But, it still didn't work. I tested on a new DELL computer and it worked after asking for the DELL resourse cd and installing something. "Thanks DELL for giving a grrrrrrreat notification on what was being installed!!!!!!" Anyway, I checked for the .ocx file and found three files with the same name but different file extentions. I added all three, registered the .ocx and it now works. The files were mscomct2.ocx, mscomct2.dep,and mscomct2.srg.
