I created a published application on Win2000 with Metaframe 1.8. I can utilize the published application fine(I am admin of that box) A user who I setup through the metaframe published app wizard(I add this user in the security window) gets an access denied error. Is there something else in TS, Win2000 or Metaframe that I also need to do?

I don't know if this will help clarify but the exact message is user logon can not access this session

Is this user in the correct group to access the application - or have you configured the applicatin so that the users' group can access it?

Is the W2k server a DC? I messed up in a lab once and forgot about "log on locally" rights (at least I think that was the problem...) for regular users on a DC!

Wasn't too clear on what other access is needed. The access I assigned was when I waked through the screens to publish the application. I believe the last screen lets you select where to add a user or group to from a domain. This machine is not a PDC or BDC. I added the user through the above screen.

Can the user log on to a desktop session?

At the console?

If not, then the user is probably not in a group which has local access rights to the machine.

Note; It's generally better to configure Published Apps to groups rather than individual users.
