Access Denied to SQL server

Hi

i am running application writen in MS Access & Tables are Linked to SQL server as Linked Tables.

users are unable to login to sql server even proper access rigts are granted.

Error is: sql state:08004
Server Error :4060
server rejected the connection.access to seleted database has been denied.

but if grant dbo or sa rights to the users they could logon to sql server,

pls. help me.
