I have a strange problem...
My serverpark runs on NT4.0 and we use Backup exec 7.3. After a full backup only 3 directories on the backup server and 3 on a remote server give a access denied error, causing the job to fail. In the event viewer the message is:

" An unusual error (32) was encountered while enumerating the contents of the directory:
{path of directory}

It is possible that files or subdirectories have not been backed up. Please examine your log file or catalogs to ensure this directory tree was backed up entirely."

When I check the back up, the files are backed up, but the error stays. With our back up service account (member of local and domain admins) we can access these files.

Can somebody give me a hint where to look because the normal solutions given by Veritas wil not work.

Thanx in advance

Pascal

Add the special rights "Backup file" and "Restore file" to the Backup exec service account on all servers.

Files can sometimes have special rights, and this should fix your problem.
