Access Denied From 6.1 / 8.1.5 Manager to 6.0.14 / 8.0

I’m planning to Upgrade our IP500 V2 so I installed 6.1 on a new machine. System Status and Monitor work fine, but Manager won’t allow me to Configure.

It Discovers the unit, and asks Service Account Username\Password (Administrator) but gives "Failed to login to IP Office" Cause (Access Denied)

The main menu will allow me to upgrade and I should have the License Code shortly from my VAR.

Just worried about upgrading the unit without the ability to save the config or view it in the newer manager. Would have thought the newer version would be backwards compatible and also bothered by "Access Denied" - would of though "Wrong Version"

Anybody else Experience this?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

It is backward compatible, it will be a username or password mistype/incorrect issue :)

Would of thought the same, it's still at the Default Administrator\Administrator

I typically Cut and Past the user name into the password field - Even if I manually type it, it wont go.

Also

If I goto the older machine and login, it still works (cut\paste)

Ok - Bizzare

There was a leading Space prior to the "A" of Administrator

Dont know where it got it's default from on Install or If I fat fingered it the first time

Thanks
