I get access denied error message when I try to move/copy a file to drive in a computer running windows xp professional on a network but I can move the same file to any of the computers on the same network but running windwos 2k professianl. The network has 2 domain controllers running 2k server operating system.
Any idea of the reason will be appreciated

Well obvious one springs to mind - when you share a drive/folder on XP, the default share permissions are read only - so you'd not be able to write to such a share On 2k, the default is full permissions.
