Access Denied Error (Error 6)

Hello,
I keep getting error 6 (access denied) which refers to a .dat file that stores customer information. The file was working fine until i tried to erase a record and apparently it got locked for some reason. I am running the Clarion application on a network of 4 computers one of which is the server. The other 3 computers read from the files that are all stored on the server and all the file manipulation is being done on the server. Could anybody please tell me how can i repair the damaged file and if there is any way to avoid the same error in the future.

Dunno if ya already tried to rebuild tables's keys...

Sometime ago I've a trouble like that... the table was corrupt by its final eadge... so What I did was a process to copy record by record until the bad one...... a kind of recovery
Of course it was Tps file... and TpsFix crash when tried to open that file... so I was lucky enought to save most of the records from the file....
