Access Denied during restore on Onstream DI30 30gb drive access netwo.

I'am currently using echo 3.2.9 on win2kpro trying to backup from a mapped drive on our win2kserver. Even thought test backups seem to backup data when it comes to restore I have access denied (even though I have access via windows explorer). Onstream tech said that they have exper.. some problems copying data access networks caused by the rate of data transfer (being to slow and the buffer being to low. Does any know if the DI30 drive can copy data from a mapped drive. I have also tried using msbackup with the win2k drivers. No look thier as the schedulling doesn't seems to work.

1Vision's echo REALLY isn't good with network backups. This is due to the fact that Echo tries to claim ownership within windows of every file it tries to copy. windows doesn't like that. I would recommend ntbackup b/c it is supported for network backups. see if you can manually backup over the network with it. if you can, then you've got a problem with your task manager, if not, it's a permission issue.
