I'm storing an Access 97 database on a Red Hat 6.2 server, and keep getting corruptions I cant pin down. Vaguely remember a Samba issue involving problems with oplocks, can anyone shed any light on this.

I don't know the solution to this problem, but i don't think it is to do with samba.

My experience was with an Access database transfered to a Linux (ext2) partition then transfered back to an NTFS partition (the method of transfer didn't seam to affect the outcome) only to have Access complain of either having insufficient privilidges to open the file or that the file was already open (needless to say, neither of these were correct)
It's a reproducable problem, but i couldn't get any help from Microsoft in resolving the issue.
