HI Everyone

I have a Access 97 Back end that does not have a .mdb File extention. I can open, see, use and change the database sturctures. with 97 or 2000 If I tell it to open it.

But as it's not saved as a .mdb extention I can not link to it. I can't rename it as the front end that goes with it will not of course see it.

I want to link to it to add some new reports and a few new funtions.

Any Ideas greatly Aprecaited.

Thanks Chris

When you open the Linked Table Manager, just type in the path and the file name (including the other file extension) into the FILE Name text box and then click the OPEN button. You may not be able to actually browse to another file extension but you can manually enter it.
