Access DB opened twice

Hello,

I am developing a Front Page application for use at the company I work for. However, when I click on a link to an Access 97 database, it opens once (after a longer than usual pause), then about 45 seconds later it opens again. Word files and Excel files open only once like they should. Any idea why this would open twice?
