I am running sendmail 8.9.3 which relays mail (No my SMTP server is not an open relay) to my internal Exchange server.
In my access database I have these lines
210 550 Your ISP is a known spam host or relay.
211 550 Your ISP is a known spam host or relay.
218 550 Your ISP is a known spam host or relay.
I reran the mkmap on the database and restarted sendmail. Why did I get e-mail with this received line in the header today?
Received: from orgio.net ([211.59.214.136])
I thought I was blocked everything coming from 211.*.*.*
I am sorry to have to block the entire Korean, Japanese, and Taiwan block of IPs. But, all of my users have been inundated by Spam that is in some form of Kanji which none of my users can read. So, please don't give me the "You shouldn't block everyone" line. I can't have my mail server filled with crap I don't want because some admin doesn't feel the need to fix his relaying SMTP server OR some company doesn't feel the need to hire responsible admins.
Thanks.
