Access database needs repairing using W2K Terminal Services

Situation is this: Have two users connecting to W2k Server via Terminal Services. Initially there have been no problems . Today, however, one user received the following error message: 'Access database needs repairing. Access Admin user has exclusive use' The version of Access is that of 97.

Any suggestions to what caused this problem would be greatfully welcomed.
