Access database error

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question.

I have an access databas that looks like it was created with access 2000 running on access 2007 (lists 2000 mode at top of screen). When we use the database on the machine where the database files are stored the system will run fine. When we try to use the database from another computer on the network we get "Method 'item' of object 'forms' failed" on certain screens of the database.

Both machines are under 6 months old, both WinXP Pro up to date, both access 2007, no firewall, MDAC the same on both (2.8). database directory is mapped on network machine.

The first thing I'd check for is missing library references (from the VBE window Tools > References).

If nothing is highlighted as missing can you post your code and let us know which lines are erroring?
