Hi All

I keep Access 2000 database in the Server and clients are connected to that database(About 20 clients).
Frequently clients get error msg saying "The database is locked by another user".So I have to repair the database using a database repair tool. Why this comes?
This has been working more than 10 months.I am compacting the database also.
Clients are connected through DSN.
The software has done by VB6.

maha12,

It is likely that you would need to review security setting for that data base. Often, the combination of how VB6 works with data controls and the particular security settings can create such an effect.

The other way is to review VB6 code: all the places where application uses DB, releases objects, and so on...
