11/23/2018 We used MS Access 10.

We have a small windown 10 Lan. 6 computers.
We changed the Windows XP server to Windows 10 and now all 7 computers are
windows 10 and Access 10.

We are getting a sporatic message that the database is corrupt.
We get out. Go back in, and it works again.
The machines do not get the message at the same time. Say, just one here and
there while the other people work fine in the same database.

I've read that microsoft had a bug in Nov 2018.

Would you know the MS file that will fix this? Thank you.

Is your application split between front end and back end files? Does each user have their own copy of the front end?

Hi Duane. No, we are not split. The file size is 420,000. 6 computers in the Lan.

Tonight, I found that one PC has died. Maybe that caused a crash.
Also I found the server File/Options had the database location looking to C: drive instead
of D:

The new server has a C: solid state and a D: regular harddrive. The program is on D: The data is on D: under
documents.

I am hoping fixing the file options did something positive.

ps the latest error was 'you do not have exclusive access to the database'. But after some fixes, i have not
had this message the last hour.

I would follow good practice and split the database and provide every user with their own front end.
