Access closes when exporting a report.

When I try to export a report the whole access database closes. On the database window I highlight the report, right click and select "export", it runs... and then closes the whole database. But it only happens sometimes for some of the reports.

Any idea's on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest repairing and compacting the database.

Also check to see if there might be a close action in the reports that would close the application instead of the report as you wishing to do.

Thanks for you reponse Steve, although I had already tried compacting and repairing it, and I am certain that there is no command to close the database.

I also sometimes get an error "Out of memory".
