I'm running Access 95 (os is Win98) and recently tried to open an inventory database that I keep. While I can open the other databases listed, when I try and click on the inventory one, it immediately shuts down Access. Thus, if it's corrupted, I can't try to repair or transfer my data out as I can't even get into the database. Any suggestions?

Yes
Create a brand new .MDB
Open it
Click the Tables tab
right in the white space of Table TAB
click on "Import"
Find your corrupted database
you can usually import All Tables Queries or anything that does not have VBA code
you can select multiple items
I suggest you pick a few items then save your new database periodically
Or you will crash it too.

After you have all well
Make a .MDE thsi will prevent future corruption
Click "tools Menu
Database Utlities
Make .MDE
There is another post a way back on .MDE's

Create a new blank database and try importing all objects from the inventory database into the blank database. If this works, you can work on the new database and get all your data.
