is there a way of getting three years worth of data to appear in a period starting Jan to dec for the last three years using a chart within access? I need to compare this years stats against the matching month from the last two years

The fields are as follows

Month = dd/mm/yyyy
No of hits = numeric field
Category = text field

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
ian

You will need a query or table with three columns - Year1, Year2, Year3. Then 12 rows, one for each month. Plot 3 data series on the Y-axis, and Month along the X-axis.

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger.
Then it hit me.

Genomon's response looks like it uses a crosstab query which I expect would be the appropriate Row Source for the chart control.
