Hello all,

I have a moderately complex report in Access 2000. While adding controls to a report I got the error message "Microsoft Access Can't Create Any More Controls On This Report". There is no "Help" offered. Suggestion on error message is to rename the report if controls have been deleted in the past and then it may be possible to add more.
I tried this and was only allowed to add a very few more controls before getting same message on renamed report. I know I have seen somewhere in the past a reference to a limited number of controls. Compacting and repairing did no good. Report needs about 200 more controls. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

From Access help under Program specifications:
Number of controls and sections you can add over the lifetime of the form or report 754

I think I've been successful, in the past, creating a brand new form and copying the controls and code into it - the renaming did not work for me either.

OH Nancy you really are an angel!! I don't know how to thank you enough. I changed the format from number to standard and suddenly it worked, it worked it worked!!!!

YES! A BIG, BIG thank you. You have saved my day two times this week now. Thank you! :)
