I need to create a report that counts and totals several different data elements. The users enter reason codes to indicate the issues they encounter. I have to provide them a monthly summary report that displays the reason code and the total number of entries for each code. In addition, I need to do a count on three outcome statuses: upheld, overturned and withdrawn. These are are currently in a drop down box. I am very new to Access so I have no idea how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You'll need a TOTALS type query, to get the counts and such. Can you post a quick layout of your table and someone here will shoot a coupla' lines of SQL back atcha that will do the trick...

Example:
[red]
MyTable <-- table of stuff
*Field1 <-- key, Text, 3 characters
Field2 < Number from 1 to 100
Field3 < Date
[/red]
....etc etc etc..
