Good afternoon. Right now I'm having a trouble with the calculation of some values. I'm connecting to BTrieve database using Access 97. I have configured the ODBC connection and I've configured the Access compatibility but when it connect to the database it throws a vey much large numbers than it should be, i.e. for 300 * 100 this is equal to 30000 but ith throw 345.565.444.334,00.

I don't know what to do.

Any tip will help.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

pervasive (BTRieve) doesn't normally store numerics in the same form as they are in Ms Speak. You (Often/Usually) need to supply a translation between the BTRieve objects and the Ms. Speak objects. BTrieve has a few different numeric types and a 'packed string' for placing variable (length) numerics into a string of specific length. Each "Numeric" in BTRieve translates to Ms. Speak through different 'translators'. These transforms are often (usually) accomplished in class modules in Ms. A. and include get/let proceures for EACH item in the BTRieve table as well as routines to retrieve from and save to the BTRieve format.
