A command button from a form is supposed to launch an "notification" type email. This works great on all machines except one (and of course that is who needs it the most). This user gets the "Internet Connection Wizard" popping up instead of the email sending like it should. Any ideas?

Let me know if you would like to see the code.

If this user can start Outlook without the message above before sending the notification message try to create a new Outlook application what exists until msg sent.

Dim myOlapp, myNameSpace As Object
Set myOlapp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
Set myNameSpace = myOlApp.GetNamespace("MAPI")

if it doesn't work, pls insert your code
