Hi

Any help will be more than appreciated!!!

I am trying to set up a database, which will allow me to have a number of login usernames and password, with different security levels.

This database will then be run on a number of different machines and networks so I cannot use Windows authentication, therefore it would be best for me to be able to use a table in Access to do it.

HOW?

Thanks

Digga

P.S it's Access XP

Access has a built-in security module, so if you want, you can use that. It's at times unintuitive, so I (and everywhere else I've seen this mentioned) recommend you read the Access security FAQ before jumping in. (links below)

If you decide that Access security is not for you, that's fine--just realize it's the only way, period, to secure your data. Check out my FAQ on alternate/supplemental security methods: Gauging your security needs; alternatives to Access/JET security faq181-3893

No Access-based security method is perfect...but I mention that in the FAQ.
