ok - have a shared computer with secured (mdw) on it. Would like to keep users away from the desktop, so we have set the machine to open the database upon startup - it prompts for the login properly.

Access.Application.CloseCurrentDatabase works to close the db without closing out Access...
however it is re-using the login/pw combination from the last user opening the database when re-opening the database from the file menu list.
Any way of clearing that information and forcing the next user to login themselves? Or perhaps a log-off command rather than closing the database?

Let them hate - so long as they fear... Lucius Accius

In registry path
HKCU\Softwear\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\Settings\Last User

holds the info for the last user who had succesfully opened the last database.I don't know if you can change it to blank. I would rather use the loged on user name, instead
